Melissa L. Bender

Melissa L. Bender, 44, of Friendswood, Texas passed away on September 29, 2016 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. She was born on March 9, 1972 in Hazlehurst to James Bernice Lowe and Barbara Armstrong Lowe.
A memorial service celebrating Melissa’s life was held Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Friendswood, Texas. A visitation and graveside service followed on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Visitation was held at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello. The graveside service took place at Lowe Cemetery.
