Mrs. Johnnie E. Smith Strong, 86, was called home from this life on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello. Mrs. Johnnie was born January 27, 1930 in Monticello. Services were held Saturday, May 21, at New Zion Baptist Church. The graveside service was held in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Brother Jeff Davis officiated the services.
