Dennie Warren Thurman

Dennie Warren Thurman, 75, of Brandon passed away at his home on August 5, 2015 with his wife and children at his side. At his request, his body has been donated to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for the advancement of science. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 8th at Monticello Baptist Church. Officiants were Rev. Tim McCaffrey, Rev. Philip Thurman, and Rev. David Thurman.

Mr. Thurman was born in Monticello on December 26, 1939 to Hilda Thomas and Jake O. Thurman. He lived the majority of his life in Monticello, recently moving to the Ross Barnett Reservoir area of Brandon.
