Arlene Belinda Rhodes 

Memorial services were held on March 7, 2026, at North Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, New Hebron, for Arlene Belinda Rhodes, 55, of Byram, who passed away on Feb. 27 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, Jackson. Rev. Mirrett Rhodes officiated. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She is the daughter of the late Johnnie and Edith McDuffey. She was a member of North Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, New Hebron.

Mrs. Rhodes was a billing coding specialist at University of Mississippi Medical Center. She loved reading, traveling, and spending time with family. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Maye, of Byram; stepson, Elijah Maye; goddaughter, Ni’haya Hooker; brother, Marvin McDuffey, of New Hebron; sisters, Victoria Hannah, of Olive Branch, and Johnnie May, of Monticello; god-brother, Steven Jasper; god-sister, Jamila Rawls; and many other relative and friends.
