Robert Charles Brown

Funeral services were held on Dec. 27, 2025, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Silver Creek.  Rev. Lauria McDuffey Jr. officiated, with interment following at Pen Oak Baptist Church Cemetery, Silver Creek.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brown was born to the late Willie and Mavis Peyton Brown.  He received his formal education at McCullough High School in Monticello. He was married to Mary Willie Weathersby, of Prentiss, and to this union, three daughters were born.

He served as trustee of Building Committee at Pen Oak Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member. He was an outstanding and hard-working brick mason and carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Willie Brown, four daughters, five sons, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, five sisters, one brother, and other relatives and friends.
