Brian David Rayborn

A graveside service for Brian David Rayborn will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Greer Cemetery in Jayess. Riverwood Family is handling the arrangements.

Brian David Rayborn, 58, of Jayess, passed away on April 26 at his residence. He was born in Lafayette, La., on Sept. 23, 1967, to WT Rayborn and Annie Lee Terrell Rayborn.

Brian enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed watching them play sports. They were his pride and joy, and he loved them very much. He spent six years at the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office serving under Joel Thames and Lessie Butler. He currently served as security at Lawrence County Hospital. He enjoyed cutting the grass and being a handyman for anyone who needed him.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 15 years, Lisa Ann Langston Rayborn; his children, Lexie Bennett (Bradley), Corey Jones (Kim), and Lindsey Ladd (Dusty); brother, Gary Rayborn (Jodie); and six grandchildren, Braden Ladd, Brooklyn Ladd, Riley Jones, Reed Jones, Caroline Bennett, and Layne Bennett.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hepzibah Baptist Church youth or children’s fund in Silver Creek.
