Charles Patrick Walker

Funeral services were held on Feb. 28, 2026, at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, Silver Creek, for Charles Patrick Walker, 57, of Missouri City, Texas, who passed away on Feb. 17. Rev. Roy Thomson officiated, with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He is the son of L.T. and Mamie Walker. He was a member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, Silver Creek, and attended The Church Without Walls, Houston, Texas. He received his B. S. degree in education from Jackson State University.

Mr. Walker was an avid fan of Jackson State University Tigers and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, L.T. and Mamie Walker, of Silver Creek; brother, Calvin Walker, of Hattiesburg; sisters, Katina Walker and Daphne (Kevin) Barnes, both of Houston, Texas; Janice Walker, of Flowood; and Jalexus Walker, of Hattiesburg; and many other relatives and friends.
