Larry Brown

Funeral services were held May 25, 2024, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Monticello, for Larry Brown, 70, who died May 18 at his residence. Rev. Joseph Hooker, pastor, officiated, with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brown was born to the late Odell and Mary Brown. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was an honorary deacon.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John Cherry Brown.

He is survived by sisters, Nora Brown, Margaret Brown, Veronica Brown, all of Monticello; brothers, Odell Brown Jr., of Monticello, James Brown, of Brookhaven; Kent Aultman, of Prentiss; aunt, Audrey Brown; special friend, John Eley; and caregiver, R. D. Brown.
