Willie Earl Daggins

Funeral services were held July 9, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Home, Prentiss, for Willie Earl “Chill Will” Daggins, 52, who passed away June 21 in Jefferson Davis County. Rev. Robert Barnes officiated, with interment following in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Silver Creek. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He is the son of Margaret Hill and the late Willie Armstrong. He attended Shiloh Baptist Church, Gulfport. He loved art, drawing, and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders.
He is survived by a daughter, Zia’Zidra Hill, Prentiss; grandson, Zyun Martin; mother, Margaret Hill, Silver Creek; brothers, Billy Ray Hill Jr. (Deela), Silver Creek; Scottie Hill, Silver Creek; Regon Hill, Hattiesburg; Michael Cook, California; sisters, Sonya Lott and Margie (Desmond) Barnes, both of Prentiss; Carlos McNair, California; Tina Franklin, Baton Rouge, La.; Cynthia Boone, Georgia; and many other relatives and friends.
