Timothy Ryan Stoner
Timothy Ryan Stoner, 25, of Jayess, passed away March 13, 2023, in Gulfport. Timothy was born July 22, 1997, in Hattiesburg to Christopher and Angela Strange Stoner.
A funeral service was held March 18 at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello. Graveside service followed at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Jayess. Bro. Scott Johnson officiated, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers were Benjamin Fuller, Alvie Rials, Brian Alexander, Rusty Norton, Johnny Cooley, and Jacob Holden.
Ryan loved being outdoors and going on adventures collecting rocks and arrowheads, swimming in creeks, and walking through the woods soaking up all that God created. He loved animals and volunteered for several animal shelters and rescue programs. He loved turtles and collected turtle trinkets of every variety.
Ryan loved to draw, paint, and create beautiful things. He loved to collect antiques, collecting tins and rare finds that he joyfully searched for. His love of genealogy and history prompted hours of searching for information.
Ryan was smart and quick-witted with a sense of humor that made everyone laugh. He knew how to love and gave his love so deeply that we will forever and always remember him. To know him was to love him. He was a beautiful soul who left this world too soon, but he left this world a better place because he was in it.
Ryan was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Ida Hodges; great-uncle, Garry Hodges; aunt, Krisha Stoner; and grandfathers, Dennis Stoner and Robert A. Strange Jr.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Christopher and Angela Stoner, of Jayess; his brother, Josh Stoner, of Jayess; his grandmothers, Roxie Stoner and Dorris Hodges; aunts, Diane DeWitt, Alicia Strange, Adrienne Strange, Audra Stoner Cooley (Johnny); uncles, Eric Stoner and Daryl Stoner; cousins, Sean Strange, Megan Wallace, Alyssa Marbury, Aiden Strange, Ethan Strange, Madelyn Cooley, Claira Cooley, and Roxie Stoner; along with many extended family and friends.
