Evelyn Faye Berch

Funeral services for Evelyn Faye Berch were held June 25, 2022, at New Hebron Baptist Church. Interment followed in the New Hebron Cemetery. Rev. Mike Grenn, Rev. Tommy Tanner, and Rev. Earl Clark officiated. Mrs. Berch, 83, entered into the eternal rest of her Lord Thursday afternoon, June 23, at her residence in the Old Hebron Community.
Mrs. Berch was born on Aug. 14, 1938, in Jefferson Davis County to Reggie Dennis and Mattie Laura Slay Berry. Faye loved her children and grandchildren immensely. She relished being in each of their lives, creating what is now a gallery of priceless memories. In addition, she possessed the gift of hospitality. Many happy hours were passed as Faye entertained her friends, laughing and enjoying conversation over a good meal. She also loved meeting new people and was known for her trademark saying, “Tell me your story.” Faye also had a passion for quilting and sewing for the public in former years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reggie Dennis and Mattie Laura Berry; her husband, Charles E. Berch, who preceded her in death in 2015; her granddaughter, Amanda Hartzog; and a brother, Reggie Ray Berry.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her sons, Dennis Berch (Allyson), of Magee; Creston Berch (Amy), of Clinton; her daughters, Terah Riley (Joey), of New Hebron; and Laura Sullivan (Darreck), of Ocean Springs. The legacy of their Mimi will also live on through her grandchildren, Katelyn Berch, Molly Berch, Ben Berch, Lana Paiz, Kirby Berch, Griffin Berch, Charley Sullivan, Ann Morgan Sullivan, Sarah Hartzog, Eli Riley; and her great-grandchildren, Nick Hartzog, Walker Sullivan, and Miller Sullivan.
Serving as pallbearers were Charley Sullivan, Russ Berry, Ben Berch, Eli Riley, Nick Hartzog , Sam Guillot, Kirby Berch, and Griffin Berch.
