Allison Marie Chiasson Tynes

Allison Marie Chiasson Tynes, 53, of Monticello, went home to be with her Lord on Jan. 14, 2022.
Allison was born to Alice Marie Stein Chiasson in Charity Hospital in New Orleans, La., on June 20, 1968. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her husband, Andy, and her son, Eddie. Allison also enjoyed flowers and took pride in her beautiful yard. She loved her family, was an avid cook, and loved making her favorite traditional recipes of seafood gumbo and dirty rice.
Allison is preceded in death by a brother, Shane J. Chiasson; and a sister, Antoinette M. “T.T.” Chiasson.
She is survived by her husband, William Andrew Tynes Sr.; her mother, Alice Marie Stein Chiasson; brothers, Larry Chiasson Jr. and Kevin M. Chiasson; sisters, Pamela M. “Noonie” Coker and Charlotte M. “Sudi” Chiasson; sons, Eddie Joseph Tynes and William Andrew Tynes Jr. (Patricia); daughter, Amber Leigh Tynes Swenson (Caleb); and grandsons, Owen and Dylan Swenson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who meant the world to her.
A funeral service was held Jan. 18 at Wilson Funeral Home. Rev. Dale Authement, of Topeka Baptist Church, presided over the services. A graveside service followed at Monticello Municipal Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Shane Padilla, Jarred Chiasson, Jonathan Caballero, Troy Brand, Patrick Andrews, and Drew Tynes. Honorary pallbearer was Clayton Brister.
