Antonio Stewart

Graveside services were held Aug. 21, 2021, at China Lee Baptist Church, Silver Creek, for Antonio Stewart, 49, who died Aug. 12 at University Hospital, New Orleans, La. Rev. Jerry Earl officiated, with Johnson Funeral Home handling the arrangements.
Mr. Stewart was born to Marvin and Joe Ann Demourelle in New Orleans. He was the oldest of three children and graduated from Joseph S. Clark High School. Mr. Stewart became a culinary chef for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Mary Stewart; and great-grandparents, Woodrow and Celeste Gardner.
He is survived by his parents, Marvin and Joe Ann Demourelle; two sisters, Danielle Demourelle and Thalmeshia Weston; son, Antonio Augustine; two godchildren, Travis White and Kennadee Stewart; and wife, Veronica Stewart, all of New Orleans.
