“Red” Reynolds
Memorial services for “Red” Reynolds, 65, of Jayess, were held June 4, 2021, at New Life Church in Monticello. Bro. Jay Thompson officiated. Wilson Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Mr. Reynolds passed from this life on May 29 at his residence. He was born on Nov. 21, 1955, in Independence, La., to Eddie Plez Reynolds and Wanzie June Griffith Reynolds. He joined the Navy when he was 17 and reached the rank of Quartermaster. His love of motorcycles began when he purchased his 1955 Harley Davidson Panhead, and it stayed with him all his life. He joined the Vietnam Vets/ Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club on Jan. 1, 1990, and held every position of office. He is known nationwide and overseas within his club. If you ever met Red, you would never forget him. He was truly one of a kind.
Survivors are his parents, Eddie Plez and Wanzie June Reynolds; his wife of 33 years, Tracey King Reynolds; stepdaughters, Hiedi Rose Jones (Chris), Carolyn Elizabeth Wallace (Eric); sons, Richard Seth Reynolds, John Paul Reynolds (Candace), Jared Storm Reynolds (Jessica); eight grandchildren, Daniel, Harley, Diamond, Sapphire, Riley, Brooklyn, Patricia and Avery; brothers, Eddie Plez Reynolds Jr. (DaWanna), Raymond Earl Reynolds; sister, Debra June McPhail (Jesse); and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
