Louanne Pace Parschauer
Louanne Pace Parschauer, 62, passed away at home in Huron, Ohio, under the care of Stein Hospice, Oct. 21, 2020, following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. At Lucy’s request, a private memorial Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Lucy impacted so many lives in so many ways from Mississippi to Ohio and far beyond. She knew how to enjoy life and to help others do the same. Her laughter was contagious, her sense of humor was her trademark, and she loved those around her honestly and fiercely. Those who knew her closely can attest that the compassion and respect she had for her family of animals, showed there was always room in her heart for one more.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Thomas B. and Louise Brantley Pace, of Hattiesburg; as well as Leon and Pauline Russell, of Monticello.
Lucy is survived by her parents, Dr. Brantley and Ann Russell Pace; her husband, Ken Parschauer; and children, Josh Parschauer (Kat Fowler), of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Kara Parschauer and daughter, Kaden, of Elyria, Ohio; siblings Marita (Ben) Walton, of Jackson; Tom (Nancy) Pace, of Greenville, S.C.; Jim Pace (Celeste La Chappelle), of Ridgeland; Kathryn (Will) Phillips, of Yazoo City; Will Pace, of Madison; Jan (Sam) Coker, of Jackson; and a multitude of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Those wishing to make a memorial may do so to www.martintruexjrfoundation.org to help in the fight against ovarian cancer, as well as pediatric cancers.
