Willie Martin

Graveside services were held Oct. 3, 2020, at St. James Baptist Church, Oma, for Willie Martin, 78, who died Sept. 24 at Lawrence County Nursing Center, Monticello. Johnson Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Mr. Martin was born to the late R. D. and Hattie Martin. He was a member of St. James Baptist Church, Oma.
He is survived by a brother, Harry Newsome, of Mary Esther, Fla.; sisters, Linda Green, of Hattiesburg; Savannah McKinly and Doris Anderson, both of Pittsburg, Calif.; Dortha Dent, of Atlanta, Ga.; and Sally Newsome, of Hattiesburg.
