Betty Ann Maxwell

Betty Ann Maxwell, 76, of Monticello, passed away on June 22, 2020 at her residence in Monticello. Betty was born August 14, 1943, in Monticello, to Carl E. and Dorothy Hall.
A service was held June 26 at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, with graveside services following in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Harvey officiated with Wilson Funeral Home handling arrangements.
Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed caring and providing for others, especially close friends and family. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Betty will be missed by everyone.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Terri Maxwell Shumaker (Ben), two grandsons, Jake Reynolds (Toni) and Seth Reynolds (Sarah); great-granddaughters, Kaitlee, Kylee, Hailey, and Ruth Anne Reynolds; great-grandsons Carter Reynolds and Caleb Avants; two brothers, Ed Hall (Jean) and Sid Hall (Polly).
Those preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 58 years, Claude Harrison Maxwell; daughter, Donna Lynn Maxwell Wallace; brother, Robert Hall; sister, Shirley Morgan and an infant great-grandson, Clyde Harrison Reynolds.
