Robert Wayne Ainsworth

Robert Wayne Ainsworth, 60, of Jayess, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020, at his residence in Jayess. Robert was born February 12, 1960, in United Kingdom of Great Britain to Billy Joe Ainsworth and Catherine Fitzgerald Ainsworth.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 16, at Sartinville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Dan Campbell will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Robert served his country in the United States Marines and the United States Air Force. He worked for the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff for several years. Robert was a loving husband, brother, and friend. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Sartinville United Methodist Church.
Robert is survived by his father, Billy Joe Ainsworth, of Shalimar, Fla.; sister, Teresa Smith and husband Michael Smith, of Hattiesburg.
Those preceding him in death were his wife, Paula Ainsworth; his mother; and one sister.
Robert will be missed by everyone.
