Tawyna Kim Farmer Reeves
Mrs. Tawyna Kim Farmer Reeves, 55, of Brandon, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Merit Health Rankin in Brandon. Kim was born August 16, 1954, in Gary, Indiana, to Herman and Shirley King Farmer.
Services were held Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Monticello Baptist Church in Monticello, with graveside services following in Monticello Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Sam Taylor and Bro. Jon Daniels officiated the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Kim was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed caring for and providing for others, especially close friends and family. Kim enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She retired from Lawrence County School District after 28 years as a Special Education Teacher. She was a member of Pinelake Church in Brandon. Kim will be missed by everyone.
Kim is survived by her parents, Herman and Shirley Farmer of Monticello; husband, Steve Reeves of Pearl; sons, Tyler Reeves and his wife, Taylor, and granddaughter, Carter, of Madison, Blake Reeves and wife, Carly, of Brandon, and Ryan Reeves and fiancee, Samantha Hotard, of Pearl; sisters, Darla Barnett and husband, Tommy, of Pearl and Lori Perkins and husband, Frank, of Brookhaven, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Those preceding her in death were her grandparents, Marvin and Lizzie Lee Farmer and Allen and Billie Jean King.
