Brandy DeLatte Wimbrow

Brandy Delatte Wimbrow, 43, died Saturday, May 11, of cervical cancer. Brandy was born March 28, 1976, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a graduate of Picayune Memorial High School, and she lived in many places throughout her life. She was a resident of Lawrence County for 14 years, and she was currently residing in Slidell, Louisiana. While in Lawrence County, she worked at Rhymes Electronics and Fred’s Pharmacy.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jason Wimbrow; her daughters, Sara Katherine Case (Tanner) and Alyssa Wimbrow; her maternal grandmother, Adeline Bishop; two sisters, Sherri Ervin (Delane) and Tiffany Dunham (Matthew); brother, Thomas Dequeant (Gonca); grandson, Wyatt Case, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Cynthia Dequeant of Silver Creek; grandparents, Ellis (Freddy) Bishop and Nolan and Betty DeLatte of Gretna, Louisiana, and godmother, Alisa (Lisa) Bishop of Gretna.
Services and visitation for Brandy will be held from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. for visitation and 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. for services, Saturday, May 18, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag. Brother Ed King will be officiating.
