James Earl Crane, Sr.

Services for Mr. James Earl Crane, Sr. were held Friday, March 15, 2019, at Antioch Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery.
James Earl Crane, Sr., 79, of Brookhaven, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 12, 2019. He was born November 18, 1939, to Plez Crane and Pauline McGuffie Crane.
Mr. Crane served in the United States National Guard and was the retired Maintenance Supervisor for the Brookhaven Housing Authority. He also was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon.
Preceding him in death were his parents and granddaughter, Misty Bounds.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Anna Lee Douglas Crane; son, Jamie Crane and wife, Felicia; daughters, Brenda Dixon and husband, George, and Shana Foster and husband, Shannon; brother, Charles Ray Crane and wife, Wanda, and sister, Bertile Beasley, along with seven grandchildren, Natasha Folkes, Curtis Dixon, Johnathan Dixon, Adam Nations, Kasea Nations, Chase Crane and Brady Crane. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
