Mildred Mullins Watts

Mildred Mullins Watts, 87, of Monticello, passed away March 2, 2019, at her residence in Monticello. Mildred was born September 24, 1931, in Lawrence County to William V. and Eva Holmes Mullins.
Services were held Tuesday, March 5, at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello with graveside services following in Monticello Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Kenneth Roberts officiated the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mildred loved spending time with and caring for her grandchildren and attending all of their ballgames and sports activities. She enjoyed spending time in her yard, tending to her flowers and giving attention to her cat, Spooky. She was a member of Monticello Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her son, Robert Watts (Martha) of Monticello; daughter Elizabeth Ard (Robert) of Silver Creek; seven grandchildren; fifteen great- grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren, and one sister, Billie Ward.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Leroy Watts, and brother, Charles “Dempsey” Mullins.
