Phillip “Flip” Lawrence

Phillip “Flip” Lawrence, 50, of Tilton, was called home from this life on November 24, 2017, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Phillip was born December 19, 1966 in Tylertown to Larry Lawrence and Wanda Ann Beeson.
Services were held Monday, November 27, 2017 at Tilton United Methodist Church with graveside services following in Tilton United Methodist Cemetery in Tilton. Bro. Kevin Trantham officiated the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Phillip loved being a father and grandfather. He was a very hard worker, very generous person and his door was always open to everyone. He loved the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. He spent most of his life as a self-employed electrician, and was currently working as a Boilermaker at Turner Industries. He loved his family and friends and was known by everybody for his good, compassionate heart.
Surviving Phillip are his daughters, DeAnn Smith (Tyson) of Stumptown and Lana Lawrence of Carrolton, Georgia; step-son, Deven Delaughter; parents, Larry Lawrence of Hattiesburg and Wanda Ann Beeson of Jayess; grandchildren Aiden Smith, Kinzi Smith, Annie Royer, Melana Royer, Lilly Royer and Brooklyn Royer; sisters, Becky King (Stanley), Beth McPhail, Phyllis Lawrence and Trisha Warren (Jesse), all of Jayess; five nephews, two nieces and ten great-nephews and nieces.
Preceding him in death were his granddaughter, Makayla Lawrence, and grandparents, Carl and Florine Lawrence, Houston Townsend and June and Leron Fuller.
