Betty Lou Wilson

Betty Lou Wilson, born June 27, 1947, departed her earthly home on July 15, 2017 to join God and her parents, Woodrow and Mattie Wilson, in heaven. Betty, a resident at Lawrence County Nursing Center since 2005, is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy R. and Sarah Bufkin Wilson of Madison; her nephew, J. Scott and his wife, Pat, and their daughters Katie and Laura; and her niece, Suzanne and husband Will Watson and their sons, Noah and Seth, all of Madison.
A graveside service was held in Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery on July 18, 2017, with Bro. Jimmy Harvey conducting the service. May she now rest in peace in the presence of God with her momma and daddy.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Pace for his 57 years of service to Betty, to the Lawrence County Nursing Center Staff for their 12 years of service to her and to Hospice Ministries for their service in the past few months. Thanks to all of you for your exceptional kindness, loving spirit and concern for her well-being.
