Novella Pittman Ross

Mrs. Novella Pittman Ross was born on January 14, 1920, to the late Gazzie and Carrie Armstrong Pittman of Oakvale. On March 6, 2017, in Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of 97, the Lord called her home.
Mrs. Ross was married to the late Mr. Enioch Ross of Lawrence County for fifty-eight years. She was an active member of the China Lee M.B. Church, where she remained a faithful member for over seventy-five years.
She leaves to cherish her memories five daughters and three sons-in-law, Shirley Ruth Ross Norwood of Missouri, Mary Helena Thompson (Tyree) of Mississippi, Carrie Marie Ross Dickey of Georgia, Stafinee Ross Patterson (Gilbert) of Georgia and Delphine Denise Williams (Vincent) of Georgia. She also leaves eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. One grandson, Enioch von Darryl Norwood, preceded her in death.
The homegoing service is scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2017 at China Lee Missionary Baptist Church in Silver Creek. The interment will be held at the church cemetery. The funeral arrangements and service are entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Prentiss.
