Joyce Elizabeth Williams-Hale 

Funeral services were held on June 24, 2026, at Quin Temple Church of God in Christ, Monticello, for Joyce Elizabeth Williams Hale, 83, of McComb, who passed away on June 14 at The Claiborne at McComb. Dr. Martin L. Williams officiated, with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She is the daughter of the late L.J. and Lillie Mae Taylor Williams.

Mrs. Hale had a career with the United State Postal Service as a clerk. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and baking.

She is survived by her brothers, L.J. Williams Jr., of Dallas, Texas; Martin Williams, of Omaha, Nebraska; sisters, Mattie Pearl Williams, of Monticello; Carolyn Williams-Holmes, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Faith Williams and Bessie Williams, both of Monticello; two grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
