Sales Along 84 happening on Sept. 4-6
The much-anticipated three-state sales event along Highway 84 will take place this week, and Lawrence County has embraced the opportunity.
Organizers have created a huge flea market opportunity from Texas to Mississippi, and vendors will be open along the highway from Mexia, Texas, to Prentiss. Businesses in cities and towns have been able to take advantage of the event by listing their stores and merchandise.
Online, the 2025 Sales Along 84 site offers a vendors list of everyone who registered prior to Aug. 1 for the event. Travelers can plan trips to take advantage of the offerings, which include churches and nonprofits, as well as individuals and businesses. There’s even a list of RV accommodations along the way.
All vendors have been asked to indicate their participation by displaying a bouquet of yellow balloons at their sale sites.
The list of participants is downloadable and printable. Key words within the document–such as antiques, tools, etc.–can also be searched.
Locally, several sites will take advantage of the event. Junebug’s Downtown Market and Hand Me Down Haven have registered to participate. Cluster sites are registered at Atwood Water Park, Magnolia Mercantile, The Market on Main, and Magnolia Square parking lot. There will also be food vendors at several of the local cluster sites.
