Winter Wonderland

Even though the temperatures Saturday were in the mid-70s, members of the Lawrence County Historical Society created a “Frozen” environment for visitors to the Longino House and grounds in Monticello. There was a display of gingerbread houses created by gifted students from across the county, characters from the movie “Frozen,” hot chocolate, tours, and snow. A large crowd turned out for the festivities that also included crafts for kids.
