Monticello senior graduates from Mississippi School of the Arts

Chloe Russell

The Mississippi School of the Arts (MSA) is proud to honor graduating senior Chloe Russell, of Monticello. Russell studied in the Literary Arts program. While attending MSA, she won Scholastics Arts Writing Awards on the Regional and National levels and also was awarded a Mississippi Scholastic Press Award. She received a total of $116,000 in college scholarship offers.
Suzanne Hirsch, MSA’s Executive Director, had this to say about the graduating class of 2020. “As coronavirus has prompted changes in the traditional ways we normally celebrate our graduating seniors, it is our hope that students will recognize our respect for the immense hard work it has taken to get to this point in their lives. We do hope the education they have earned at MSA will serve them well. At MSA, we imagine, create, and realize a better world in which to live and work daily. It is our hope this graduating class will know how very important they are to this world. No matter where they go from here, they will make the world a better place.”
