Crooked Creek Baptist Church in Silver Creek will hold Homecoming on Sunday, August 4. The guest speaker will be Bro. Darel Daniels. There will be a covered dish lunch followed by The Pearl Quartet singing during the afternoon service. Everyone is invited.

Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church of Sontag will hold Revival, Sunday, August 4, through Friday, August 9. Services begin at 1:30 p.m. on August 4 with guest speaker Pastor Kevin Langston of Friendship M.B. Church in Monticello. Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. each night August 4-9. The guest speakers are as follows: Monday, Minister Davion Brown of Mt. Wade M.B. Church in Brookhaven; Tuesday, Minister Jerrod Dixon of Egypt Hill M.B. Church in Hazlehurst; Wednesday, Minister Corey Langston of Friendship M.B. Church in Monticello; Thursday, Pastor Kevin Russel of 2nd Bethlehem M.B. Church in Sumrall, and Friday, Pastor Michael Evans of St. Paul M.B. Church in Silver Creek.
