    Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, located at 512 Rockport-New Hebron Road, will have a community fish fry, Saturday, May 25, from 4-6 p.m. on the church grounds. Hunter May will provide music.

    Antioch Baptist 159th Year Homecoming

    9:30 am-2:00 pm

    Antioch Baptist Church will celebrate their 159th Year Homecoming, Sunday, May 26th. Special guest speaker this year will be Kenzie Letchworth, who will be sharing old memories of the past. Sunday School will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the morning services at 10:30 a.m. Dinner in the fellowship hall will follow the services.

    Divide M.P. Church Old Folks' Day

    10:45 am-1:00 pm

    Divide Memorial M.P. Church, located 11 miles south of Monticello off Highway 27, will hold their annual Old Folks’ Day service, Sunday, May 26, beginning at 10:45 a.m. Rev. LaDon Dawson will bring the morning message. Attendees are encouraged to dress in clothing reflecting the 1890s through present day. Prizes will be given for “best dressed”. A potluck meal will follow the service.
