    Life of Christ Presentation

    RESCHEDULED! The Life of Christ presentation at the Atwood Water Park in Monticello has been rescheduled due to the inclement weather of December 8&9. It will be held Friday, December 15, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Come drive through scenes from the Journey to Bethlehem through the resurrection presented by area churches. You will receive a CD at the gatehouse with Scripture and songs that accompany the scenes. No admission charge. Donations accepted.     Monticello UMC Shopping Trip

    Monticello United Methodist Church is currently collecting their Christmas Benevolence Special Offering, used for Angel Tree and Senior Home Health projects. Following lunch on Sunday, December 17, the church will take a trip to Brookhaven to shop for these projects. If you wish to go, contact Elizabeth or Michele.

    St. James M.B. Church Annual Christmas Program

    St. James M.B. Church of Oma will hold their Annual Christmas Program on Sunday, December 17, at 1:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Youth Minister Randolph Sartin. Also performing will be the China Lee Youth Choir.

    ABATE Meeting

    The Southwest Chapter of ABATE will have its monthly meeting at Jeffrey’s Cycle Supply on Sunday, December 17, at 2 p.m. Jeffrey’s is located eight miles south of Hwy. 84 on East Lincoln Road, Brookhaven, on the right. They have raffle tickets available for the Blackout 300 Rifle. They will be presenting a check to the Southwest Mississippi Children’s Advocacy Center.
