    Greater Mt. Olive Church of Oma will hold their Annual Revival, Sunday, August 11-Thursday, August 15. Services will begin on Sunday at Noon with speaker Rev. Fitzgerald May of St. James Church in Oma. Services will begin at 7:15 p.m. nightly Monday-Thursday. The speaker for these service will be Rev. Antione Eakins of Galilee Baptist Church in Longview, Texas.

Michael Smith of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Silver Creek. Monday, August 19-Wednesday, August 21, services will begin at 7:30 p.m. each night, with speaker Rev. Eric Dickey of First Missionary Baptist Church in Biloxi.

    The Southwest Chapter of ABATE will have its monthly meeting at Jeff Price’s Shop, Sunday, August 18, at 2 p.m. Jeff’s is located 8 miles south of Hwy 84 at 3326 E. Lincoln Rd., Brookhaven, on the right. Meetings are open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to attend to put the finishing touches on some exciting upcoming events. Church in Monticello, with an Old Fashion Dinner on the Grounds after service on Sunday. Revival will continue Monday, August 19-Wednesday, August 21, at 7:15 p.m. each evening, with speaker Pastor Kelvin Russell of Morning Star M.B. Church.

    The Southwest Chapter of ABATE will have a Fun Day and Bike Night at Rosco’s of McComb, Saturday, August 24. Rosco’s is located on Hwy 98 east of McComb. Just look for Rosco’s car on top of a pole! There will be a Bug Splatter Rider at 1 p.m., a Bike Wash from 2-4 p.m., and a Bike Show from 4-6 p.m. Trophies for Bike Show, 50/50 Drawing and Raffle will be at 6 p.m. All events cost $5 each. Live music will begin at 7 p.m. Come and enjoy a day of fun and an evening of socializing.
