    Mt. Zion Baptist Church, located at 75 Mt. Zion Lane, Sontag, will celebrate Pastor Keswic Alexander’s Eight Year Anniversary, Sunday, June 2. The theme will be “Follow Your Calling,” based on Jeremiah 3:15. Morning worship service will begin at 11:30 a.m. The speaker will be Rev. Keswic Alexander. Evening worship service will follow with speaker Rev. Eugene Bryant of Hopewell M.B. Church in Brookhaven. Dinner will be served. Everyone is invited.

    Monticello High School Class of 1969 50 Year Class Reunion

    5:00 pm-10:00 pm

    The Monticello High School Class of 1969 will be having their 50 Year Class Reunion, Saturday, June 8, from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. in the upstairs auditorium at the Civic Center (old high school building) in Monticello. To cover expenses, there will be a charge of $10 per person, payable on arrival. The class is looking forward to seeing each of those in attendance, and hopes that each one who can will attend.     St. James Father Daughter Dance

    St. James Church will present A King and His Princess, STJ 1st Father Daughter Dance, Saturday, June 8, at 7 p.m. at Pleasure Point Multi-Purpose Center, located at 1701 Hwy 184, Monticello. There will be a photo time from 5:30-7 p.m. with one 5×7 included. All proceeds will benefit St. James Church Ministries. There will be food, fun, dancing and memories.
