GloBoyz Productionz will present their annual Concert of Hope Saturday, February 16, at 6 p.m. at the CCMA Christian Center, located at 17160 Highway 51 North in Hazlehurst. The theme will be “Denim, Pink & Diamonds” and will honor the 59th birthday of GloBoyz CEO Gloria Thompson. The night will include great Gospel singing and performances from Churchin’ with Chosen, The Kaiser Singers, Fred Perry and 2nd Generation, Praise Dancer Nadiyah Nelson, Pastor Douglas Noel and Friendz, and Ashley S. and Revived. Event Host is Jonas Q. Ross and the Pink Carpet Host will be Jenni Love. The GBP Memorial Scholarship will be awarded at the event, and guests are asked to bring books for donation to the “I Love 2 Read Gift Book Ministry.” Door prizes will also be given away. Monticello United Methodist Church will honor the local Boy Scout troop during the morning worship service on February 17. After the service, there will be a fundraiser lunch of soup and salad. Make plans to enjoy lunch and fellowship while helping support the local scout troop.
