Louis Calvin Armstrong

Graveside services were held Sept. 20, 2023, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Silver Creek, for Louis Calvin Armstrong, 76, who passed away Sept. 14 at his residence. Rev. Moses Johnson officiated. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He is the son of the late Elmo and Ella Lee Armstrong.
Mr. Armstrong was retired from the sawmill. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Armstrong, of New Hebron; son, Steve Armstrong, of Melbourn, Alaska; daughter, Tanya Feazell (Kenley), of New Hebron; sister, Ira Jean Weaver, of Homewood, Ill.; along with Weiss, Angela, and Miquel Perkins; four grandchildren4; and many other relatives and friends.
