Martha Carol Williamson

Martha Carol Williamson, 69, of Silver Creek, passed away July 20, 2023, at her residence. Martha was born Oct. 28, 1953, in Monticello to Miles Eugene “Gene” and Noma Lee Cliburn Hill.
A funeral service was held July 23 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service followed at Monticello Masonic Cemetery on Robinwood Road. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Momma was known to those that loved her most as Mop and was a second mom to so many. Mop loved painting stained glass, birds, her children, and spending every possible minute with her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Ronnie.
Survivors are her three daughters, Kristi Carney, of Monticello; Lori Howell, of Newberry, S.C.; and Mandi Smith, of Silver Creek; the sons chosen by her daughters, Dwayne Carney, Jamie Howell, and David Smith; seven grandchildren, Taylor Sauls (Jannan), Chase Carver, Miley Howell, Makayla Howell, Addison Carver, Blake Smith, and Brantley Smith; two great-grandchildren, Evan and Leigh Taylor Sauls; and a host of family and friends.
