Dianne Day
Dianne Day, 76, of Jayess, passed away Nov. 14, 2022, at her residence. Dianne was born May 14, 1946, in Hattiesburg to Kernel and Doris Lott Brown.
A funeral service was held Nov. 17 at Wilson Funeral Home. Bro. Bren Smith officiated, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Dianne was a loving and devoted wife for 55 years. She was adored by her children, grandchildren, and great-grands. Dianne was widely known as being one of a kind and had a big personality. She was an avid bowler for 30 years, bowling competitively in Natchez and McComb. She loved to shoot her gun, watch tennis, fish, hunt arrowheads, and loved being adventurous. She was known in the community for her cooking and love of the holidays, especially Halloween. Dianne was full of life and had a genuinely-big heart. The best memories were made in her home by everyone who knew her.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Kernel and Doris Brown; and her sister, Kay Morse.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Randy Day, of Jayess; three children, Sherry Day (Phillip Lawrence), Becky Nations (Mike), Joey Day, all of Jayess; also Jeremy Robbins, whom she loved like a son; four grandchildren, DeAnn Smith (Tyson), Lana Lawrence (Neadha), John Michael Nations (Brittnie), and Shelby Nations (Channing); and 11 great-grandchildren.
