Marlon G. McLeod

Marlon G. “Big M” McLeod, of Foxworth, passed from this life on, April 12, 2022, at the age of 53. Marlon was born and reared in Topeka and was a resident of Lafayette, La., where he worked offshore until his health began to fail. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. McLeod is survived by his daughter, Amber McLeod; a son, Nick McLeod, and his wife, Megan; parents, Cliff McLeod and Gail Armstrong McLeod; a sister, Donna Dyess and her husband, John; brother, Shannon McLeod and his wife, Lilly; and a grandson, Jayden McLeod.
A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Bill Tisdale and Rev. Darin Powell, was held April 15 at Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery, assisted by Eric Thornhill, Shane Thornhill, Brent Sullivan, Brian Sullivan, Rodney Alexander, and Dewayne Hamilton as pallbearers.
Arrangements were entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia.
