March 12
River Bend House of Brews in Monticello will co-host a blood drive with Vitalant Blood Services from Hattiesburg from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12. The bloodmobile will be parked at RBHOB. March 14
The Lawrence County Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m., Monday, March 14, at the Civic Center in Monticello. The speaker will be Bren Smith. Anyone interested in Lawrence County history is welcome to attend.

March 17
Mississippi State University Extension and Delta Health Alliance will host a community COVID vaccination/booster program and fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 17 at the Lawrence County Civic Center. Information will be given on COVID vaccines and boosters, which will be available but are not required. Wear green (if you wish) and join Extension for this free event. RSVP by calling 601-587-2271.

March 26
Lawrence County Miniature Horse Association show dates for 2022 are March 26, April 30, May 21, June 25, July 30, Oct. 22, and Nov. 12. All shows start at 11 a.m. and are held at the James E. Givens Building near the Sheriff’s Department. For more information, contact Dustie Barnett at 601-754-4939.

Topeka Tilton Outreach Mission, 779 China Grove Rd., Jayess, serves USDA non-perishable food items from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first and second Saturday of each month. Application must be completed for eligibility to receive said food.

Topeka Tilton Outreach Mission, 779 China Grove Rd., Jayess, Clothes Closet is open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first and second Saturday of each month. All sizes of clothing, shoes, toys, household items at very low prices. Come shop for many unique items, too.
