Mavis Lambert

Mavis Lambert, 69, of Jayess, passed away Feb. 19, 2022. Mavis was born Jan. 22, 1953, in Monticello to Elzy and Cathern Buchanan.
Graveside services were held Feb. 22 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Cemetery in Monticello. Wilson Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Bro. Dale Authement presided over the services.
Mavis is survived by one daughter, Sarah Lambert, of Jayess. She also leaves behind one brother, Steve Buchanan (Pam); two sisters, Deborah Boyd (Wade), Sissy Barkley (Earl); and one sister-in-law, Evelyn Williamson.
Mavis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Lambert; sister, Jean Buchanan; and niece, Allie Barkley.
Pallbearers were Wade Boyd, Waylon Brown, Randy Catt, Michael Thames, Bobby Miller, and Terry Davis.
