Dec. 22-25
Christmas Lights in the Nature Trail at Tilton United Methodist Church, 663 Hulon Brister Road, Jayess, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. nightly through Dec. 25. Everyone is invited to walk through and enjoy all the lights and Christmas decorations. There is no admission fee, but donations are appreciated.

Dec. 24
Monticello United Methodist Church will hold its Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. Dec. 24.

Jan. 11 & 13
Copiah-Lincoln Community College will hold registration for Adult Education classes from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11 and Thursday, Jan. 13 in the Dow Young Building on the Wesson campus. Attendance is required at both sessions and will include an explanation of the program and initial assessments. Registration is open to anyone 18 years or older interested in earning a high school equivalency diploma. Students 16-17 years of age require prior approval, call 601-643-8655.

Topeka Tilton Outreach Mission, 779 China Grove Rd., Jayess, serves USDA non-perishable food items from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first and second Saturday of each month. Application must be completed for eligibility to receive said food.
Topeka Tilton Outreach Mission, 779 China Grove Rd., Jayess, Clothes Closet is open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first and second Saturday of each month. All sizes of clothing, shoes, toys, household items at very low prices. Come shop for many unique items, too.
