Joyce Yarborough Lambert

Joyce Yarborough Lambert, 73, of Monticello, passed away on Dec. 10, 2021, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello. Joyce was born Dec. 15, 1947, in Jackson County to Emmett and Erlene Alexander Yawn.
Graveside services were held Dec. 13 at Jayess Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. James Sanders officiated, with Wilson Funeral Home handling the arrangements.
Joyce loved spending time outdoors working with her flowers. She loved to cook for her family. Joyce was a member of Jayess Baptist Church. Joyce will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Joyce survived by her husband, Joe Lambert, of Jayess; her two children, Ken Yarborough and Jennifer Williams; two stepchildren, Rickie and Todd Rutland; one brother, Rodney Yawn; and eight grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
