Pastor Glen Smith and the Fair Hill M. B. Church Family in Oma will celebrate their 158th Church Anniversary at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28.

Dec. 3
The ninth annual Life of Christ presentation will be held from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at the Atwood Water Park, located at 1362 E. Broad St, Monticello. The drive-thru event will feature various local churches presenting live depictions of scenes from Christ’s birth, life, death, and resurrection. A CD with accompanying scriptures and music for the scenes will be provided to attendees upon arrival. There is no admission cost. In case of inclement weather, a reschedule date has been set for Saturday, Dec. 11.

Topeka Tilton Outreach Mission, 779 China Grove Rd., Jayess, serves USDA non-perishable food items from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first and second Saturday of each month. Application must be completed for eligibility to receive said food.
Topeka Tilton Outreach Mission, 779 China Grove Rd., Jayess, Clothes Closet is open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first and second Saturday of each month. All sizes of clothing, shoes, toys, household items at very low prices. Come shop for many unique items, too.
