Addison Carver to compete in Jr. Miss Magnolia State Pageant finals
Addison Carver, of Monticello, will be a contestant in the statewide Jr. Miss Magnolia State Pageant finals at the Vicksburg Auditorium in Vicksburg on Nov. 20-21.
Carver is the daughter of Dwayne and Kristi Williamson Carney, of Monticello, and the late Chuck Carver.
Ladies throughout Mississippi will compete in fashion runway, interview, casual wear, and evening gown competitions. The state winners will each receive $1,000 cash scholarship and a cruise to Alaska, and will make appearances throughout Mississippi during her year of service. Over $10,000 in scholarship money and prizes will be made available through the state pageant.
The preliminary pageant competition will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, and the pageant finals with the semi-finalists being named and the new winner being crowned will take place at 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 21.
