Oct. 23

Carmel Baptist Church Trunk or Treat will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23. There will be food, fun, and games. For more information, call Lisa at 601-810-1358.
Crossroad Cruisers Car Club in Jayess will have its last cruise-in for the year, which will also be a Trunk or Treat, from 4 until 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 at the Refuge, 584 Woody Road, Jayess. All vehicles are welcome. Participants do not have to decorate, but there will be a people’s choice award for a decorated trunk. There will also be dash plaques for the first 30 entries. Participants who decorate are asked to keep it kid- and God-friendly (nothing scary, blood, gore, witches, etc.). For more information, contact Missy at 601-757-7944.

Oct. 27

Antioch Baptist Church, 22 East Lincoln Rd., Monticello, will have Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, Oct. 27. Decorate your car and meet in the parking lot at 5 p.m. Venture into the fellowship hall for food and games.

Oct. 30

The old Pinola High School annual reunion will be held Oct. 30 at the old school. Doors will open at 9 a.m. There will be a business meeting at 11 a.m. with lunch served after the meeting at $10 per plate. All Saints Service will be observed at Monticello United Methodist Church on Nov. 7. Please contact the church office to add names.

Topeka Tilton Outreach Mission, 779 China Grove Rd., Jayess, serves USDA non-perishable food items from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first and second Saturday of each month. Application must be completed for eligibility to receive said food.

Topeka Tilton Outreach Mission, 779 China Grove Rd., Jayess, Clothes Closet is open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first and second Saturday of each month. All sizes of clothing, shoes, toys, household items at very low prices. Come shop for many unique items, too.
