Mississippi State University Extension Service will offer a “Quick Bites” program via Zoom entitled “Being Active” from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23. The program will be hosted by Madison Payne, Office of Nutrition Education, Coastal R&E Center. Looking for some ways to get the whole family active and moving? Learn some fun, easy exercises to get 20 minutes of physical activity with “Aim for 20” that can be done almost anywhere. Discussion will also include family-friendly “Quick and Easy Snack Ideas” that are great before or after physical activity, to fuel our bodies, especially with on-the-go busy schedules. Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 512 Rockport-New Hebron Road, New Hebron, is having their revival Sept. 26-29. On Sept. 26, the revival will be at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. The revival will start at 7 p.m. Sept. 27-29. The evangelist is Gene Douglas, music director is Dwight Chance, and pastor is Ken Boytte.

Topeka Tilton Outreach Mission, 779 China Grove Rd., Jayess, serves USDA non-perishable food items from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first and second Saturday of each month. Application must be completed for eligibility to receive said food.
