Jewellene Williamson McCloud

Jewellene Williamson McCloud went home to be with Jesus on April 27, 2021 at age 82.
Jewellene was born at home to Hezzie and Hazel Williamson, of Monticello.
A funeral service was held April 30 at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello. Bro. Archie Herrin and Bro. Michael Smith officiated, with Wilson Funeral Home handling arrangements.
She met her husband of 50 years, Larue (Rooster) McCloud, in high school and married in 1955. They had two sons, Scotty McCloud (Denise), of Monticello; and Randy (Jeanine), of New Hebron; four grandchildren, that she was very proud of, Gina Fulton, of Brandon; Christopher McCloud, of Rosenbery, Texas; Christy Fox, of New Hebron; Greg McCloud, of Hattiesburg; and seven great-grandchildren.
Jewellene was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed painting, teaching, and interior design. She was a Christian lady who loved her church in which she was very involved in her earlier years.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
