Old Hebron Baptist Church celebrates 200 years

April 1821-April 2021
Two hundred years ago, settlers arrived in what is now West Jefferson Davis County. Despite the swamps, forests, and lack of roads, these settlers began to carve out a community.
One of the first priorities was a church, and Old Hebron Baptist Church was born.
Help us remember these brave men and women as we celebrate this historic church’s past. She is one of the oldest Baptist churches in southern Mississippi that has held continuous services.
More of her history will be published as we remember the work she has done and the men and women she has had to help do it.
Save the date for a celebration to be held Oct. 31.
