Winter Wonderland

Frigid temperatures hit Lawrence County last week, causing widespread power outages and roads that made travel treacherous. Above, Bobby Joe Herring, returned to the Monticello city barn last week after clearing limbs on Jefferson Street that were preventing access to Lawrence County Nursing Home. The gazebo at Coopers Ferry Park and fountains in the area became part of a winter wonderland.
